Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Æsthetic (the “App”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered photo and video editing app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices and rights you have.
It applies to the App and to any page you reach through a link we share. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect the information you give us and the information created while you use the App.
- Account details: your name, email address, profile photo and role.
- Photos and files you upload: portraits, product shots, interiors, inspiration images and any other image you add. Uploaded files are stored privately and are not given public URLs.
- Face and avatar photos: reference photos you save to a face profile or use as an AI avatar for retakes and face swaps.
- Generated results: the edited images, videos, avatars, collages and templates the App produces for you.
- Content you create: captions, scheduled post details, brand kits, presets, folder comments and feedback you send us.
- Payment information: subscriptions and purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive your plan, status and limited billing details, but never your full card number.
- Usage and technical data: which tools you use, credit usage, device and browser type, and standard log data such as IP address and error reports.
- Shared links: if you create a public share link for a photo, anyone who has that link can view the photo.
We do not use your photos to train our own models, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the App’s features, including editing your photos, generating images and video, saving your projects, and sharing folders you choose to share.
- To operate your account, including sign-in, subscription status and credit balances.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To keep the App safe and reliable, including usage limits, abuse prevention, debugging and performance monitoring.
- To respond to your questions, feedback and support requests.
- To send service messages about your account, such as trial reminders or security notices.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. AI processing and service providers
The App’s editing features rely on third-party AI model providers. When you run a tool, the image or text you submit is sent to those providers so the edit can be generated, and the result is returned to the App.
Providers we use include Replicate (image, video and face-swap models) and Google’s Gemini models, called through the Base44 platform that hosts the App. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. These providers process your information under their own privacy policies and only as needed to deliver the feature you requested.
5. When we share information
We share information only in these situations:
- With the service providers listed above, so the App can run.
- With people you choose: shared folders, comments and share links are visible to the collaborators or link holders you select.
- For legal reasons, if we are required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the public.
- If the App is transferred to a new owner, in which case this policy will continue to apply until it is updated.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share your photos with advertisers.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your uploaded photos, projects and generated images from active systems. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a short period, up to 90 days, before being overwritten. We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as invoices.
7. Your choices and rights
You can control your information from inside the App, and you have the rights below depending on where you live.
- Access and correction: the images and projects you save are visible in your account, where you can review, edit or delete them.
- Deletion: you can delete individual projects and face profiles at any time, and delete your entire account from My Account, then Delete Account.
- Consent withdrawal: you can stop using the AI tools at any time. Processing stops when you stop submitting images.
- Privacy requests: contact us using the details at the end of this policy and we will respond within the time the law allows.
- Depending on your location, including under Canada’s PIPEDA, the GDPR or UK GDPR, and California’s CCPA/CPRA, you may also have the right to receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what your account is allowed to see, and payment details are handled by Stripe rather than stored in the App. No service can promise perfect security, so please keep your login details private and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Children
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We and our providers may process your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for those transfers.
11. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your in-app preferences. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell data to ad networks. You can clear this data through your browser settings, though you may need to sign in again.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. The date at the top always shows the current version, and we will notify you in the App before material changes take effect.
13. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy, or want to exercise your privacy rights, email us at dominikacreativeco@gmail.com and we will get back to you.
